For Real Life.

Statement of Faith

At ScriptureReel, we believe the Bible is not merely a book to be read, but the living Word of God, truth that reveals Jesus Christ, transforms lives, strengthens faith, and equips believers to live for God in the real world.

Our content, teaching, community, and ministry are grounded in the following biblical convictions.

1. The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, authoritative and trustworthy, and our foundation for Christian faith, doctrine, conduct, and spiritual growth.

We believe Scripture should be faithfully interpreted in its biblical, historical, and literary context and applied to everyday life under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 | 2 Peter 1:20–21 | Psalm 119:105 | Hebrews 4:12

2. The One True God

We believe in one eternal God, Creator and Sovereign Lord of all, eternally revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, distinct in Person, yet one in divine nature, glory, and purpose.

Deuteronomy 6:4 | Matthew 28:19 | 2 Corinthians 13:14 | Ephesians 4:4–6

3. Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.

We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, divine nature, miracles, sacrificial death on the cross, bodily resurrection from the dead, ascension to the Father, present ministry as our Lord and High Priest, and His promised return.

Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation and reconciliation with God.

4. Humanity, Sin, and the Need for Salvation

We believe humanity was created in the image and likeness of God, with inherent dignity, value, and purpose.

Through sin, humanity became separated from God and incapable of restoring that relationship through human effort, morality, religion, or good works alone.

Every person therefore needs the saving grace of God.

Genesis 1:26–27 | Romans 3:23 | Romans 6:23 | Ephesians 2:1–5

5. Salvation Through Jesus Christ

We believe salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus willingly died for our sins, shedding His blood for our redemption, and rose bodily from the dead.

Everyone who repents of sin, believes in Jesus Christ, and receives Him by faith is forgiven, reconciled to God, and receives eternal life.

Salvation is God’s gift and cannot be earned by human works.

Key Principle

Salvation is God’s gift and cannot be earned by human works.

John 3:16–17 | Romans 5:8–9 | Romans 10:9–13 | Ephesians 2:8–9 | Acts 4:12

6. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Person and present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ, convicts the world concerning sin, brings new life to believers, dwells within God’s people, guides us into truth, produces godly character, empowers believers for Christian living, and equips the Church for ministry and witness.

John 14:16–17, 26 | John 16:7–14 | Acts 1:8 | Romans 8:9–14 | Galatians 5:22–25

7. The Baptism and Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the continuing work and empowerment of the Holy Spirit and that the spiritual gifts described in Scripture remain available for the building up of the Church and the advancement of God’s purposes.

We believe believers should earnestly desire spiritual gifts while exercising them biblically, lovingly, responsibly, and in a manner that glorifies Jesus Christ.

Acts 1:8 | Acts 2:1–4 | 1 Corinthians 12:4–11 | 1 Corinthians 14:1 | Ephesians 4:11–13

8. Sanctification and Christian Living

We believe followers of Jesus are called to a life of holiness, obedience, love, integrity, humility, and continual spiritual growth.

Through God’s Word and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, believers are progressively shaped into the character of Christ.

Our faith should influence not only what we believe, but how we speak, work, lead, serve, forgive, worship, build relationships, make decisions, and treat others.

Romans 12:1–2 | Galatians 5:16–25 | 1 Peter 1:15–16 | Colossians 3:12–17

9. Prayer and Worship

We believe prayer and worship are essential to the Christian life.

Through Jesus Christ, believers have access to the Father and are invited to pray with faith, thanksgiving, humility, persistence, and dependence upon God.

We believe worship belongs to God alone and should encompass the whole of our lives.

Matthew 6:9–13 | Philippians 4:6–7 | Hebrews 4:16 | John 4:23–24 | Romans 12:1

10. Divine Healing

We believe God is our Healer and that healing is demonstrated throughout Scripture and remains part of God’s compassionate work today.

We believe Christians may confidently pray for healing while trusting God’s sovereignty, wisdom, timing, and ultimate purposes.

Psalm 103:2–3 | Isaiah 53:4–5 | Matthew 8:16–17 | James 5:14–16

11. The Church

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, consisting of all who have genuinely placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

Every believer is called to participate in Christian community, worship, discipleship, fellowship, service, generosity, and the mission of Christ.

We believe the local church plays an essential role in teaching Scripture, developing believers, exercising spiritual gifts, caring for people, and proclaiming the Gospel.

Acts 2:42–47 | 1 Corinthians 12:12–27 | Ephesians 4:11–16 | Hebrews 10:24–25

12. Baptism and Communion

We believe in water baptism as the biblical public declaration of a believer’s faith in and identification with Jesus Christ.

We believe in the Lord’s Supper (Communion) as Christ commanded, remembering His sacrificial death and proclaiming His work until He comes again.

Matthew 28:19 | Acts 2:38 | Romans 6:3–4 | Luke 22:19–20 | 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

13. The Great Commission

We believe every follower of Christ participates in the mission Jesus gave His Church: to make disciples of all nations and proclaim the Gospel throughout the world.

We believe modern communication and media can be faithfully used as tools to communicate timeless biblical truth to today’s generation.

This conviction is central to the mission of ScriptureReel.

Matthew 28:18–20 | Mark 16:15 | Acts 1:8 | Romans 10:14–15 | Matthew 24:14

14. The Return of Jesus Christ

We believe in the personal and glorious return of Jesus Christ.

We believe Christians should live with expectation, faithfulness, holiness, and readiness as we await His coming and the fulfillment of God’s redemptive purposes.

John 14:1–3 | Acts 1:11 | 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 | Titus 2:11–13 | Revelation 22:12

15. Resurrection, Judgment, and Eternity

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, God’s final judgment, and eternal life.

We believe those who belong to Jesus Christ will dwell eternally in the presence of God, and Scripture calls every person to respond to the Gospel while salvation is offered through Christ.

John 5:28–29 | Hebrews 9:27 | Revelation 20:11–15 | Revelation 21:1–5
